Hi, I’m Krista Stryker — NSCA-certified personal trainer, founder of 12 Minute Athlete, and competitive jiu-jitsu athlete.

For the past 15+ years, my mission has been simple: to help people unlock their full athletic potential — no matter where they’re starting from.

When I first became a personal trainer in New York City, I did what I thought I had to do: spent hours every day on cardio, weightlifting, and sports-specific training. I pushed myself to the point of injury and burnout—yet still felt like I wasn’t doing enough.

Then I discovered HIIT and bodyweight training — and everything changed.

Not only did I get stronger, faster, and more athletic than ever before, but I started doing things I never thought possible:

How long are the workouts?
Each workout is just 10-15 minutes. They’re designed to fit into your day, no matter how busy you are.
Do I need any eqiupment?
No equipment is needed! All workouts use bodyweight exercises, with optional dumbbells or bands for the more advanced options.
What if I'm a beginner or haven't worked out for months?
This program is perfect for beginners. Every workout includes modifications so you can go at your own pace.
What happens after the 7 days?
By the end of the week, you’ll have a solid routine, greater confidence, and tools you can continue using to stay consistent. You can repeat the program or adapt it to your needs. We also have another program called Fitness That Sticks that will help you establish a long-term fitness habit if you're interested in going more in depth.
